GRAPHIS HONORABLE MENTION IN ADVERTISING | 2023
In a survey conducted by the Workplace Bullying Institute, it was found that 76.3 million Americans were affected by workplace bullying — which is almost 40% of the population. In an effort to educate, the adCouncil has taken action to bring awareness to the topic by personifying destructive bullying traits into various characters, as well as copy focused ads of phrases used in the workplace that can add to the toxicity. For this campaign, five characters were created with designated titles of the toxic behavior they express in the office.
Transit ads were purposefully placed to follow a person’s commute and get them familiar with the campaign, with an addition of in-office posters to keep those in the workspace informed. The campaign takes over the social media by asking the public to take online quizzes to learn about their office persona and how to help make the environment a better place for everyone.
On the adCouncil website, the public can find out what their workplace persona is and how they can contribute to a healthier work environment.
